Chicken samosa is one of the most popular snacks that are made during Ramadan. It is a deep-fried patty filled with delicious chicken masala. They are easy to make and the recipe can be modified according to your preference. The best thing about these samosa is that they are stuffed with mouthwatering minced chicken seasoned generously with common Indian spices like garam masala and cumin powder, wrapped in an irresistibly crispy and flaky golden pastry.
To make this dish, add all-purpose flour, salt and oil in a bowl and mix well. Add water gradually and knead to make a firm dough. Cover it and let it rest for 30 minutes.
For the filling, in a frying pan add oil and saute onions, garlic and ginger until soft and translucent. Then add capsicum and fry for a minute. Now add ground chicken and salt along with red chili powder, coriander powder and paprika powder and cook for another minute.
Then add water and lemon juice to it and cook until the chicken is cooked through. Cool it down and then add grated cheese to the mixture. Mix well and set aside.
Once the dough is ready, divide it into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and flatten into a disc shape. Keep a spoonful of the chicken masala on one end of the samosa patti. Roll it into a cone shape and seal the open edges with the help of the flour paste. Repeat the process for the remaining samosa pattis and filling. سمبوسة دجاج
